ABOUT Salomón Gómez

I’m Fernando “Salo” Salomón Gómez Saravia, a Senior Multimedia Designer and Brand Strategist with over 12 years in the industry, driven by purpose and people. I believe, as Marty Neumeier defines it, that “branding is the gut feeling people have about an organization.”

As the founder of Brandarah, a Multimedia Studio in Mérida, Yucatán, México in 2025; I focus on building meaningful brand identities and crafting multimedia content that blends creativity with strategy.

My Journey

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

Creativity runs in my blood. My family owns the second oldest advertising agency in Nicaragua, where I first learned the art of visual storytelling and brand communication. Since then, I’ve built a multidisciplinary career across countries and industries, blending creative intuition with strategic thinking.

In Guatemala, I worked with Studio Domus, an architecture and interior design firm, producing world-class keynote presentations that helped sell multimillion-dollar building and interior design projects. I also collaborated with major brands such as Castrol, General Mills, Camel, Winston, CONCACAF, and Nature Valley, developing impactful visual campaigns for Latin America.

 

Later, in the United States, I worked in Reno, Nevada as a Photogrammetrist, creating 3D topographic models using Virtual Surveyor and Pix4D to assist civil engineers in analyzing land contours and water flow an experience that strengthened my technical and spatial design abilities.

During that time, I also collaborated with a Canadian apparel brand founded by a Filipino couple, developing their identity and online store to support their mission of funding social programs through fashion.

After three years, I joined SFI Health, an Australian company specializing in vitamins, minerals, and probiotics, as a Graphic Designer, crafting visual systems that communicated science with emotion and trust.

Now based in Yucatán, Mexico, I lead Brandarah, helping brands grow from the ground up through meaningful design and strategy. I continue to collaborate with Carlos Cuadra Cardenal, Nicaragua’s leading advertising agency producing 3D and motion graphics for Compañía Cervecera de Nicaragua (Victoria, Toña, D’Frutta, Fuente Pura), and with Cargill on content for Tip-Top, Delicia, and other Central American brands. In Guatemala, I also create motion graphics and 3D animations for OpiGrafik, the country’s top outdoor advertising company.

Through every project, my mission remains the same: to create with purpose and design experiences that connect people, evoke emotion, and build trust.
